You stay in control of your money

Liddie is custodial, and everything about it is built so you never have to take that on faith.

Custody, spelled out

What it means that we hold the crypto, and the controls that keep the money yours.

The plain disclosure

Payments are credited to your Liddie balance and we hold the crypto until you withdraw. That is the whole arrangement, written down in plain language rather than buried in fine print.

Read the Custody & Settlement document

Withdrawals on your terms

Withdrawals are free, network cost only, and they go exclusively to addresses you whitelist. Every change to that whitelist is confirmed with MFA.

Keep your balance near zero

Auto-withdrawal rules pay your balance out to your whitelisted wallet automatically, so funds stay with us only as long as you decide they should.

Proof, not promises

An automated reconciliation proves the books balance every 6 hours and raises an alert on any drift, before you would ever notice it.

Your account

Sign-in security in layers, so one mistake never becomes an incident.

  • Passkeys (WebAuthn) for phishing-resistant sign-in
  • Mandatory TOTP two-factor authentication with one-time backup codes
  • An anti-phishing code shown in every genuine Liddie email
  • Account lockout for 15 minutes after 5 failed attempts
  • Short-lived sessions that renew quietly in the background and expire fast if anything looks wrong
  • API keys we could not leak if we wanted to: we keep only a fingerprint of them, never the key itself

Your payments

Every credit to your balance is earned on the blockchain first.

One address per payment

Every payment gets its own unique deposit address, never reused, so funds are always attributable to exactly one order.

We wait until the network is sure

A payment is credited only after its network has confirmed it as many times as we require.

See the per-chain table

Verified on-chain first

We verify every deposit on the blockchain itself before any balance credit. A notification is never treated as money.

Payments fail closed

If verification cannot complete, nobody gets credited. The safe outcome is the default outcome, on every path through the system.

Your data

The same discipline that protects the money protects everything around it.

  • Everything sensitive is encrypted at rest, and every secret is sealed to the exact record it belongs to
  • Your password is never stored, only a modern, deliberately slow hash of it
  • Strict per-merchant data isolation: your data answers only to your account
  • Every sensitive action lands in the audit log, with who did it and what changed

Holds, screening, and your funds

What AML screening is, what it is not, and where the rules are written down.

We screen the addresses payments come from against anti-money-laundering data. A flag can put your account under review. It never silently takes your money.

Restricted-category and policy issues are handled through onboarding review and documented procedures, not surprise account actions. The complaints channel is public in our legal hub.

Built to be boring

The best security work is the kind you never get to notice.

Before anything we build touches real money, it has to prove it cannot lose any. That bar does not move, whatever we happen to be shipping that week.

The books are checked against the blockchain around the clock. If a single cent looks out of place, we know before you do, and everything stops until we understand why.

And no single machine, company, or person can quietly decide what happens to your money. Anything that matters is verified more than once, in more than one place.
